Nothing is not political, especially when it comes to music. As a DJ, producer and artist, Authentically Plastic is part of the Anti Mass Collective, a club for queer artists in Kampala, Uganda, a country where repressive political currents are on the rise. In response, Authentically Plastic’s sets defy all genres and conventions without losing its danceability – subversive and risky.
