HAMY is a Vietnamese DJ born and raised in Berlin. She is a resident DJ at the Berlin-based label TILT and co-founder of the new project BUTO BAYANG. Her sound is eclectic — rooted in classic techno but full of unexpected twists. With her sharp curation and ability to craft seamless, high-energy sets, HAMY has quickly built a loyal following. She has played renowned venues including Tresor, RSO, PAL, OXI, Watergate, Rote Sonne, PAN, and more.

She began DJing in 2023 and, just a year later, hosted her own New Faces night at Tresor Berlin. In January 2025, she released her debut track “Chim Lac Dan, Garuda!” in collaboration with ENNIO — a politically charged Lunar New Year release dedicated to the Asian diaspora.

This same spirit drives BUTO BAYANG, a platform and label launched in 2025 by HAMY and ENNIO. Created by and for Asian artists in electronic music, it offers space for those navigating hybrid, queer, diasporic, or displaced identities — and pushes back against the tokenism and Eurocentric norms still present in club
culture.
