Silvia Jiménez Alvarez aka JASSS is a Berlin-based sound artist, producer and DJ. Raised in Asturias, Jiménez started DJing in Spain in her early twenties. Following the imaginative nostalgia of her 2017 debut album “Weightless”, she released “A World Of Service” in 2021. The album folds personal and societal concepts in on themselves, not seeking answers but rather luxuriating in the unique friction that questions create. Released on Ostgut Ton, the record also marks a new path for Berghain’s iconic label, wandering into pop-infused experimental music.
