Martha Da’ro is a multi-disciplinary Belgian-Angolan artist – whose creative career spans from music, film and theater. Considering all her creative pursuits, Da’ro’s debut solo LP, PHILOPHOBIA (meaning; fear of being loved), is an intensely cinematic experience in all aspects. Its atmosphere is an evocative sonic art installation and a straightforward musical album. With a soft yet commanding voice, Martha Da’ro aimed to compose an album where each track functions as a soundtrack and story.
