If they weren’t an icon before, the hit “WAVY” in 2012 catapulted Mykki Blanco’s status as a queer Hip Hop pioneer. After about ten years, two albums and various singles later, we can’t wait to welcome them. Originally from California, Mykki Blanco began devoting their life to music in New York City, and now reside in Paris. Most recently, their album “Broken Hearts and Beauty Sleep” came out in 2021, combining multi-faceted sounds of pop, techno, R&B, house, funk and rap with progressive, bold lyrics. We are hyped af!
